What are your responsibilities?

In this position you will be part of alphra partners technology practice and will actively foster our position as a preferred implementation partner through your dedication for excellence. In this role you will be part of a dedicated team of consulting professionals that will help you to grow to a skilled consulting ninja. You will learn the basics of consulting and you will take your own responsibility over small work packages.

We expect an individual capable of taking ownership with a lets-do-it-mentality that is able to challenge and to promote his team members.

What are the key job requirements?



  • 2+ years of applicable financial services or consulting experience preferred

  • Bachelor and/or master degree from a top-tier university preferred


Knowledge/Skills (job function, technical, computer, language)

  • First experiences in a technology or even system integration and migration management environment is a strong plus

  • Internships or work experience in financial services (capital markets) or consulting is preferredas is global experience

  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Ideally working knowledge of banking products (i. e. Murex, Finnova, Sungard)

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written); Additional languages a strong plus


Job requirements/work environment (including travel, physical demands if applicable)

  • Traveling within Switzerland might be required

  • Strong change and or program/project management skills and related experience

  • First project management, familiarity with digital project development and implementation

  • Functional or operational redesign or re-engineering experience 

  • Expertise in lean or other operating efficiency concepts and approaches

  • Familiarity with key concepts and trends in technology, agile methodologies

  • Consultative skill set, including an interest in providing unique and innovative insights across multiple areas

  • Able to independently resolve complex issues/problems – bringing in the right resources at the right time to assist when necessary

  • Self motivate, ability to work independently and to take initiative

  • Able to translate large, complex issues/objectives into effective work plans
